The download flow is anchored to the channel contract:

  • Channel version metadata comes from /api/releases/nightly/<VERSION>

Manual install checklist

  1. Open Download for macOS and pick the correct architecture.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag fnances into Applications.
  3. Launch fnances from Applications, then allow first-launch OS trust prompts if needed.
  4. Sign in, then continue with the desktop cloud test flow.
